CANCELLATION POLICY AT Polaris Hair Salon

At Polaris Hair Salon, we value your time and ours. To ensure every client receives the best experience and to protect our small business, we have the following cancellation and deposit guidelines in place.

A deposit is required for all colour services, Nanoplasty smoothing, microbead or keratin bead extensions, and any appointment 2 hours or longer.

• Deposits are non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of your scheduled time.
   
• If you need to reschedule and provide more than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment. (30 Days holding) 
• If you reschedule within 24–48 hours, your deposit may be held as a partial fee and a new deposit may be required to secure the next booking. (This protects us from late changes on longer services.)
   
• No-shows or cancellations on the day of the appointment will result in the full loss of the deposit and may require full prepayment for future bookings.
   

• We kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or change any appointment.
   
• Repeated last-minute cancellations may require full prepayment before any future appointments are accepted.
   

• For new hair extension installations, the cost of the hair itself must be paid upfront before ordering.
   
• Extension hair orders are non-refundable once placed, as they are customised for each client.
   
• If an installation appointment is cancelled within 24 hours, the extension hair will remain in-salon for collection and the installation deposit will be lost.
   

To respect all clients:

• Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in part of the service being altered or your appointment being rescheduled.
   
• If rescheduled due to lateness, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation, and the deposit will be forfeited.
   

We send reminder messages as a courtesy; however, it is the client’s responsibility to remember their appointment. Missed reminders do not waive cancellation fees.
